The Souffront Group is lead by Luis Oscar Souffront, its Founder, Managing Member,
Chairman & Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Souffront has extensive and diverse expertise in a
broad range of disciplines from business, commercial, corporate, banking and securities
law, risk management, compliance and corporate governance to the entire spectrum of
banking, capital markets and financial transactions. Mr. Souffront’s experience spans
markets worldwide including the structuring, negotiation and documentation of a wide
range of complex international and domestic business, corporate, banking and commercial
transactions. He has successfully consummated a myriad of international and domestic
joint ventures, strategic alliances, mergers, divestiture and acquisitions, as well as
commercial, corporate, trade, structured and project finance transactions.

In addition, Luis Oscar Souffront has broad experience in project and infrastructure
development and finance including the representation of private and multilateral financial
institutions, international and domestic infrastructure project developers and sponsors. Mr.
Souffront has further represented US utilities, telecommunications service providers,
institutional and private equity investors, equipment manufacturers and engineering and
construction companies in the development, financing, privatization, acquisition,
restructuring and divestiture of numerous international and domestic energy and
infrastructure projects throughout Latin America, the Caribbean, Asia, Africa and the United
States.
